The best gift for bringing along to your friends & family gatherings, or to make hosting a breeze for the holidays!
For the month of November, holiday gifts will be available on our site for pre-order.
This year's gift packs include Pulp Chips and instructions to build your own plant-based charcuterie, along with a DIY plant-based cheese kit! Build the perfect gift or enjoy an activity as you gather with friends and family this holiday season.
We're partnering with the Vreamery, a local vegan cheese company, to provide DIY cheese-making kits to accompany the purchase of Pulp Chips. Pulp Chips are “chips that start conversations'' - in partnering with a fellow leader in the plant-based foods movement, we hope to encourage conversations amongst family and friends in the name of purposeful, sustainable intentions for the new year. Our holiday giving boxes serve as an anchor for these pivotal conversations as you enjoy our spin on a plant-based charcuterie board with your loved ones!
Why The Vreamery?
Jennifer Golden, owner of The Vreamery, spent years experimenting with plant-based cooking before launching the third vegan cheese shop in the U.S., showcasing small batch, plant-based artisan vegan cheese makers from all over the country. Growing up with a bustling kitchen at the center of her home, Jennifer’s passion for good food started early. When her father was diagnosed with dementia in 2013, she began digesting literature on the relationship between dairy consumption and dementia, and determined that a dairy alternative could be part of the answer to a healthier diet. After making a splash at the San Luis Obispo Farmers Market in 2018, The Vreamery opened its first store in the area that fueled its beginning. Jennifer loves to share her knowledge with others and continues to push the boundaries with innovative hearty plant-based offerings. Like us, she firmly believes that “simple dietary changes can make huge impacts on our mother earth, and leave a better world for our children.”
Why Support?
Our give-back partner in this effort is Safe Place for Youth (SPY), a Los Angeles-based organization that seeks to empower young people experiencing homelessness to thrive by providing lasting, community-driven solutions that address racial and social inequity. As the lead homeless service provider for youth throughout West Los Angeles, SPY serves 1,000 unhoused & at-risk youth annually with 10 core programs aimed at meeting the unique needs of young people between the ages of 12-25. Through these services, SPY ensures that young people are identified by their youth, not their situations.
How Will Proceeds Be Used?
5% of all sales online will benefit our local partner, SPY. Even just $25 sponsors a one-on-one counseling session and $5.50 helps sponsor a meal at their Access Center in Venice.
Happy Holidays!
