Recipe: Homemade Almond Pulp Cheeze

What to do with that homemade nut milk pulp?

Here's an idea for you: make nut pulp cheese. Guarantee this isn't going to last in your refrigerator long. This recipe works well for almond and cashew pulp. Sunflower and hemp could work, too, but they have strong flavors that will come through in the cheese.

Super Simple Ingredients:

  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup pulp
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped chives
  • 1 tsp dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt (himalayan pink salt preferred - I swear it adds more of a cheezy flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions (there's only one step!):

Mix together ingredients, and add olive oil as needed to achieve the desired consistency.

If you're one of those people who loves nutritional yeast (I'm guilty!), you can definitely add a little here as well to add that cheezy flavor.

Perfectly paired with our Sea Salt chips, to keep things simple, or really any flavor that suits your fancy. Featured in the image is our Jalapeño Lime Pulp Chips.
